為妻種山藥記 2008 summer: Our 2-story high bamboo and banana trees are certain species that live in cold weather. After much work of our interior remodeling, we wanted to plant something in our backyard.

舊舍已經換新貌,
後院青竹芭蕉高,
不種蕃薯種山藥,
來日根莖燉佳餚。
窗外輕風竹影搖,
嫩藤爬竹來纏繞。
樓宇細雨芭蕉葉,
嬌妻陪伴不煩惱。
另有蜂鳥弄風騷。
